Today we used the Chrome Books to research Ancient Roman history and government. There was time given to read text pages 247-253, and to answer the 3 key questions. This is homework if it was not completed in class.
Science Current Event Magazines were passed out in order to write up a report on an article for extra credit.
Don't forget to bring in money for our "Flamingo Fundraiser". It ends next Friday. Have a wonderful weekend!

We reviewed for Friday's test. Due Friday is a written experiment designing a model of the water cycle. Also, draw a diagram of both, the layers of the atmosphere and the water cycle. All of this should be in the notebook. For extra credit students may elaborate on the diagrams creating something more. For example a model, a diorama, a poster.
Students have a study guide and the opportunity to take home a workbook to study from.

Students watched a video on the layers of the atmosphere and the water cycle. This reinforced what they studied yesterday from their textbook. Tomorrow we will discuss and complete projects on both topics. Thursday there is no school for students because of report card pick up. Friday they will take a test on both the layers of the atmosphere and the water cycle. They have both Wednesday and Thursday to prepare for the test. No additional homework will be given.
