I apologize for not posting this week.  I was home sick.  Students did not receive homework Monday or yesterday.

Today we reviewed Monday's lesson on the layers of the Earth.  They will have a test on this next  week Tuesday.  As always they may take a workbook home to review the Earth's layers.

Extra credit opportunity due by next  Tuesday is to create a 3D model of Earth's layers.  The layers must be properly and  accurately labeled.

We discussed our next research project which will be due the last two weeks of February.  I will assign specific  dates Friday.  They may work alone, with a partner, or small group-no more than four.  The theme is Greece.  Ancient and/or modern day.  This will be  both a research grade and a speaking grade so the project must be presented.  Students will have a choice on what they would like to research.  They are required to have a visual, be it a power point, poster board, model, diorama, etc.
